Casing material

Many home care appliance brands – especially steam cleaners – equip even their top models with plastic casings. Of course, that saves a lot of money in the manufacturing process, but plastic is not the most durable casing material for mobile technology.

That’s why most of these appliances look quite battered after a few years: Scratches from collisions with doorframes, even cracks in the casing are common. Plastic also “ages” by itself even without additional damage. Some professional appliances – and the Thermostar – are made from a truly high-quality and durable material. The Thermostar’s casing is made from extremely robust stainless steel, which makes the appliance not only appear substantial – it actually is! And it will look as good as new for many years to come!
