Dry steam system by Thermostar: Globally successful
Thanks to its many advantages and its technology, well over 100,000 Thermostar Dry steam systems have already been sold worldwide. But also, the prominent technologies that make the ThermoStar one of the best dry steam cleaners in the world now find application in many other products.
Intelligent technology
For the Thermostar Dry steam cleaner, a separate technology was developed that is responsible for the very dry steam and the long service life. The technology of the cleaner is now being used by international companies also for other products.
The steam boiler is made of stainless steel and has heating elements that can be taken apart.
The boiler is produced exclusively from AISI 304 stainless steel. This is the first commercial stainless steel. It is very resistant and withstands temperatures up to 600°C. The production is done by specialized technicians with a special welding process (TIG “Tungsten Inert Gas”), and it is welded together and tested with up to 70 bar pressure. The welding process is distinguished from other fusion welding processes through a number of advantages. Because practically no weld spatters originate, the health burden from welding fumes is relatively low in this method.
The Dry steam cleaner has a self-decalcifying heating element.
These elements have 4 times as much power as spiral heating elements (28 instead of 7W/cm2 on average). They have a very long service life and can be replaced, in contrast to most spiral heaters. Sheathed with a special alloy, it provides maximum power and the fastest possible heating of the water for a continuously high steam temperature. When the temperature rises, it expands and thus dissolves the limescale. The self-decalcifying electromechanical float provides a consistently high temperature.
The steam never runs out.
Suitability for continuous operation 24/7 (24 hours – 7 days per week), continuous steam and through the technology it needs almost no maintenance works. Also the Thermostar Dry steam cleaner offers a very reliable protection system. The Thermostar offers an integrated operating hour counter, as well as a self-controlling temperature display. Special elastic sleeves in the water pump extend the service life of the valves.
True Temp Technology and 2 chamber system.
The electromechanical float in the Thermostar ensures high quality steam during the whole service life. The electronic sensors used by customary steam devices already become calcified after a short time and therefore the exchange of information is disturbed – the result is moist steam. Through the 2 chamber system, the steam cleaner is also refillable at any time, even at full operating temperature. No cooling down is necessary anymore for water replenishment and therefore unnecessary waiting periods are obsolete.
